WEB SERVICES: GETTING STARTED

Welcome to the Web Services documentation. This document will help you get started with our web services and maximize the potential of running your website with the latest data from our database. But first, let’s discuss some of the concepts behind our Web Services.

What Are Web Services?
A service is a component performing a task, perhaps over a network. A web service can be identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI). Its public interfaces and bindings are described using XML. Its definition can be discovered by clients who can interact with the web service using its definition.
Our web service allows you to query our database this time for charts in real-time using a specific XML syntax.

What Can I Do With Web Services?
With Web Services, you can query our database for charts and then receive the results back. Both the query and the results are submitted using XML. Thus, it will be up to you to determine how you want to use the data we send you.
By returning this data in XML, you are able work with the data using the software languages with which you are most comfortable.

Too difficultly?
You can use 2 versions of our webservices:
2) SOAP [for professional use]
